Fonts stay exactOther tools swap your font for a substitute. TruePdf extracts and reuses the original — what you download looks identical to what you uploaded.
Proof of every editEvery download includes a fingerprint of your original and the edited file. Verify exactly what changed, offline, with any standard tool.
Nothing storedYour file lives in memory for the duration of the edit, then it's gone. No account required, no uploads logged, no data retained.
01Upload your PDFAny PDF — fillable form, flat invoice, or bank statement. Processed over TLS, in-memory only.
02Edit what you needClick a field to update it. Amount, date, reference number — everything else stays untouched.
03Download the resultYour edited PDF, with original fonts preserved. Includes a fingerprint of what changed.

I send the same SEPA invoice every month — only the amount and date change. Before TruePdf, I either paid a developer or spent twenty minutes copying everything manually. Now it takes thirty seconds and the font looks exactly right.

Markus B.Freelance consultant, Germany

Our supplier sends flat PDFs — no form fields. Every other tool I tried either refused the file or garbled the font. TruePdf just worked.

Annelies V.AP coordinator, Netherlands

I have fourteen recurring clients. The invoice template never changes, only the hours and the month. I used to dread this task. Now I do all fourteen in under ten minutes.

Sofía R.Self-employed translator, Spain

I was skeptical that anything browser-based would preserve our invoice font. It did — down to the spacing.

Jean-Pierre M.Agency owner, France

Three clients, three different invoice layouts. I expected to spend an hour reformatting. The layout on each came out exactly as uploaded.

Erika H.Bookkeeper, Austria

The no-account part was the reason I tried it. The font accuracy is why I kept using it.

Conor O.Freelance developer, Ireland

We update VAT reference numbers across a batch of PDFs every quarter. This cut that job from half a day to twenty minutes.

Luca B.E-commerce operator, Italy

I process expense PDFs from field teams. They come in flat, with no form fields. TruePdf handles them without complaint.

Maria J.Financial assistant, Portugal

The edit fingerprint was unexpected. I can verify exactly what changed, and so can my clients. That matters in my line of work.

Petra K.Tax consultant, Germany

No tutorial, no signup, no subscription. I uploaded, edited, downloaded. That was the whole experience.

Niels A.Independent consultant, Denmark

Every tool I tried before this one shifted the text baseline slightly — not by much, but enough to notice. TruePdf does not do that.

Hanna S.Freelance designer, Finland

I edit the same bank statement header every month to update the period. It used to take fifteen minutes to match the font. Now it is instant.

Thomas W.Small business owner, Germany

I update the reference number and date on the same invoice template each month. Four months in and the output is always clean.

Camille D.Freelance copywriter, France

Processed on EU servers, nothing stored. I can tell clients where their documents went — or rather, that they went nowhere.

Rui F.IT contractor, Portugal

We handle sensitive payslips. Nothing stored or logged is not a nice-to-have for us, it is a requirement. TruePdf is the only browser tool that meets it.

Birgit M.Payroll administrator, Austria

Frankfurt servers, no data retention. That covers our GDPR baseline without any configuration on our end.

Pieter J.Freelance engineer, Netherlands

My invoice was generated by InDesign — no fillable fields. Most editors either fail silently or produce garbage. This one reads the text directly off the page.

Valentina C.Freelance graphic designer, Italy

I have used Acrobat, online editors, and a Python script a colleague wrote. This is faster than all of them for a simple amount change.

Sven L.Strategy consultant, Sweden

Eight clients, all monthly invoices, all slightly different layouts. I do them all here now. Same result every time.

Aoife K.Freelance bookkeeper, Ireland

Updating a supplier invoice used to require calling the printer company. Now I do it myself in two minutes and it looks exactly right.

Dieter R.Retail owner, Germany

I do not know anything about PDF internals and I do not need to. I click the number, type the new one, download. That is the whole workflow.

Laura M.Freelance writer, Belgium

The fingerprint is the only thing that distinguishes this from editing a Word document. For audit purposes that distinction matters.

Kjeld H.Finance director, Denmark

I tried this on my phone before a client meeting to update an invoice. It worked — same layout, same fonts, in mobile Safari.

Ana C.Freelance interpreter, Spain

My invoices contain bank details and client names. I will not upload them to a service that retains files. This is the only one I found that processes in-memory without logging.

Does it work on regular PDF invoices, not just fillable forms?

Yes. TruePdf detects text on the page and lets you edit specific lines — even in PDFs with no form fields at all. SEPA payment slips, bank-generated invoices, and flat statements are all supported.

Will the fonts look different after editing?

No. TruePdf extracts the original font from your file and uses it for the replacement text. The edited version is visually indistinguishable from the original — same typeface, same size, same baseline.

Can I edit a PDF without Adobe Acrobat?

Yes. TruePdf runs entirely in your browser — no software installation required. You do not need Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, or any desktop application. It works on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

Is TruePdf free?

Yes, completely free. No subscription, no credit card, no account required. Upload, edit, and download without any registration.

Is TruePdf GDPR compliant?

Yes. Files are processed in-memory on Vercel's Frankfurt servers (eu-fra1), never written to disk, and discarded immediately after the request completes. No personal data is retained, no analytics cookies are set, and data never leaves the EU.

What types of PDF does TruePdf support?

Any PDF with embedded text: fillable forms (AcroForms), flat documents with no form fields, bank-generated invoices, SEPA payment slips, and statements. Purely image-scanned PDFs without embedded text layers are not supported.

What is the difference between editing and redacting a PDF?

Editing replaces text with new content while keeping everything else identical. Redacting permanently removes text from the PDF's content stream — deleted, not hidden. Use Edit to update amounts, dates, or reference numbers. Use Redact to remove sensitive data before sharing.

Does TruePdf work on mobile?

Yes. TruePdf works in mobile browsers — tested on iOS Safari and Chrome for Android. Upload, edit, and download without leaving your phone.

Where are my files processed?

On Vercel's servers in Frankfurt, Germany (eu-fra1). In-memory only — no file is written to disk or logged.

Do you store anything?

No. Files and edit data exist in memory for the duration of the request, then discarded. There is no database, no object store, no logging of file contents.

Can I verify that my file was not altered after downloading?

Yes. Every download includes SHA-256 hashes of the original upload and the edited output. Run 'shasum -a 256 your-file.pdf' on any computer to verify the file matches exactly what TruePdf produced.

Does TruePdf support PDFs in languages other than English?

Yes. TruePdf edits PDFs in any language — German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and other European languages. The tool reads and rewrites content regardless of the language in the file.

What's the file size limit?

20 MB. Files over 4 MB may hit the 30-second serverless timeout on complex PDFs — split large documents first.
